Dry season
The easiest game-viewing: animals gather at rivers, grass is short and the Great Migration reaches the northern Serengeti. Our busiest months — enquire early.
Green season
Short rains, lush landscapes and calving season in the southern Serengeti (January–February). Fewer vehicles and lower lodge prices.
Long rains
Afternoon downpours and some camps close — but the parks are quiet, green and good value. Ask us which routes stay dry.
